In a  collaboration between the esteemed Government College of Arts and Sciences and CTRD Trust, a camp was organized by the  Undergraduate (UG) students and 75 dedicated scholars from the Department of Social Work. This Development Program for Tribal People spanned from 26th February 2024 to 1st March 2024, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of tribal communities.The inaugural day started at the CTRD auditorium, where the Post Graduate (PG) students took center stage. The opening ceremony resonated with a sense of purpose, as the students embarked on a journey to uplift and empower tribal populations. The agenda was multifaceted, encompassing various activities aimed at development:

The involvement of students in activities such as conducting awareness programs is commendable, as these efforts demonstrate their interest in social engagement and social work. Following this, on March 1, 2024, CTRD awarded certificates to the students engaged in fieldwork. The certificates were jointly presented by the Head of the Social Work Department and the Managing Director (MD) of CTRD during the certificate-giving event.
